The Injecti-Port II (P-375) adapter is bonded to a clean and sound concrete surface over the crack. It consists of a rigid stem rising from a perforated base. The same epoxy used to seal the crack is generally used to secure the adapter. A generous amount of the epoxy is applied to the bottom side of the base, which is then placed against the concrete surface. As the adapter is pressed into position, the adhesive oozes through the perforations. A tapered Setting Tool (M-260) makes installation easy. The tapered tool holds the adapter while an epoxy paste is buttered to its underside.
Additional epoxy is applied over the base of the port in conjunction with the application of the seal over the crack. The concrete surface will fail before a properly installed Injecti-Port II will loose bond.
