Rudolph-Libbe Puts ‘Now Open’ on the Sign at the AAA Auto Center

I imagine that, for a contractor, there are no words in the English language more beautiful than “Now Open.” After a schedule delay and a brutally cold and windy winter in Northwest Ohio, Kyle Stang, Louie Tibai, and the rest of the Rudolph-Libbe Grou can finally rest knowing they have accomplished their task. How did they do it? Careful planning and hydronic heating.

A large portion of the work on the AAA building took place in the dead of winter.

Kyle first contacted us back in November of last year about heating the AAA Auto Center project.

While Rudolph-Libbe is no stranger to our hydronic climate control system—they had, in fact, used it on an identical AAA building in Sylvania, OH the previous year—Kyle had yet to see it on one of his jobsites. His task was to provide heating for the temporary structures that would allow them to lay block in the cold…

The heat source should also be capable of being transitioned to heat the inside of the building once it was enclosed…

It would need to be safe for the workers, as well, since they would be enclosed in the scaffolding…

Additionally, it should be finish-safe since the building would need drywall, paint, and an epoxy floor…

And, of course, it would need to fit in the budget.

Rudolph-Libbe needed a powerful, efficient, and versatile heating system.

We went on to discuss the Phipps hydronic heating system in detail:

No combustion inside the work area so there’d be no fumes around the worker. Safe? Check. The lack of combustion means no pressurization of the temporary structures, so the heat would continue to recirculate with minimum loss. Efficient? Check. The same exchangers that would be placed inside the scaffolding could then be used inside the building, where once again the lack of combustion would be safe for all finishes, so check again.

The hydronic system met all the project's needs.

With all those questions out of the way Kyle finally asked about the price. His response after seeing the prediction:

“That’s all? Well that’s easily within my budget. I can get a better system for the same or less money? I will write you a P.O. tomorrow. What do I need to do to reserve the system?”

Congratulations to Kyle and the entire Rudolph-Libbe Group on a project completed safely and efficiently. We are proud that you chose us to provide this system on another one of your projects. Thank you.

It might be August, but winter is surely coming here in Ohio. Contact us today to find out more about the hydronic system today and how it can help you control your schedule this winter.
