The battery-powered AQiX (2 x AA) operates wirelessly and is therefore suitable for mobile use. The desired amount of water can be preselected via an easy-to-operate display on the device. As soon as the start button is pressed, the water flows up to the set value and then switches off automatically. This allows a precise amount of water to be constantly filled into the bucket. Manual measuring is no longer necessary. A pleasant side effect is that there is no need to carry water buckets, for example from hydrants. This additionally relieves strain on the worker on the construction site and protects his health. Several quantities can also be stored on the Collomix AQiXX water dosing instrument so that they can be called up at the touch of a button. The AQiX can even be used to supply water without specifying a quantity: Press the start button and simply switch it off again once the desired quantity has been reached.
With its unbreakable plastic housing, the AQiX is designed for use on the construction site and is very light, weighing approx. 700 grams. The metal bracket ensures a secure hold on the mixing vessels or the drums of the mixing machines. The hose can be connected via a standard ¾” hose coupling or, alternatively, via a bayonet connection. The AQiX works extremely precisely with water pressure of up to 6 bar (29 - 87 psi). The pre-selectable dosing quantities can be determined from 0.3 to 99 quarts in increments of 0.1 quarts. The accuracy of the dosing device is 0.05 quarts.
