Product Description

SikaQuick Set-45 (formerly MasterEmaco T 545) is a one-component, very rapid-setting magnesium phosphate-based repair mortar designed for structural concrete repair where fast strength gain and rapid return to service are critical. It develops 2,000 psi compressive strength in just 1 hour and can be opened to rubber tire traffic in as little as 45 minutes, making it ideal for emergency repairs and time-sensitive projects.

Engineered for use at ambient and substrate temperatures below 85°F, SikaQuick Set-45 is suitable for interior and exterior work in a wide range of conditions, including cold weather. The mortar exhibits very low drying shrinkage, excellent bond to properly prepared concrete, and outstanding resistance to freeze/thaw cycles and de-icing salts. It can be placed horizontally, vertically, or overhead and may be extended with non-calcareous aggregate for deeper repairs and partial or full-depth structural restoration.

Benefits

  • Very rapid strength gain – reaches 2,000 psi in 1 hour for quick reopening of repaired areas
  • Accepts rubber tire traffic in approximately 45 minutes under typical conditions
  • Single-component – just add water and mix; no separate liquid activator required
  • Magnesium phosphate chemistry for high early strength and cold-weather performance
  • Very low drying shrinkage and excellent bond to prepared concrete substrates
  • Resistant to freeze/thaw cycling and de-icing salts for durable exterior repairs
  • Air-cure only – no wet curing or curing compounds required
  • Can be extended with aggregate for deeper, bulk repairs

Applications

  • Partial and full-depth structural concrete repairs
  • Horizontal, vertical, and overhead patching of concrete elements
  • Cold-temperature and rapid-setting repair projects
  • Repairs to industrial floors, loading docks, parking decks, and traffic-bearing slabs
  • Grouting and patching around anchor bolts, rebar, dowel bars, and precast elements
  • Interior and exterior repairs where rapid return to service is required
