Product Description
SikaGrout 928 (formerly MasterFlow 928) is a low-dust, hydraulic cement-based, non-shrink mineral-aggregate grout engineered for precision load-bearing support. It is ideal for grouting machinery and baseplates where maximum bearing area, reliable load transfer, and long-term durability are critical. The grout can be placed from fluid to damp-pack consistencies over a wide temperature range, making it versatile on demanding job sites.
SikaGrout 928 develops high early and ultimate compressive strengths and hardens free of bleeding, segregation, or settlement shrinkage, helping ensure full contact under equipment and plates. The formulation includes well-graded quartz aggregate for strength and workability, extended working time for easier placement, and superior freeze/thaw and sulfate resistance for harsh environments such as marine and wastewater facilities.
Benefits
- Low-dust, high-precision, non-shrink grout with extended working time for easier placement
- Hardens without bleeding, segregation, or settlement – maximizes effective bearing area and load transfer
- High early and ultimate compressive strengths for structural and equipment grouting
- Pumpable and can be placed from fluid to damp-pack consistency to suit project and formwork conditions
- Freeze/thaw and sulfate resistant – suitable for marine, wastewater, and other aggressive environments
- Meets ASTM C1107 and CRD C621 (Grades B and C) and is NSF/ANSI 61 approved for potable water use
Applications
- Precision grouting of equipment and machinery: compressors, generators, pumps, drive motors, tank bases, and conveyors
- Grouting under baseplates, bearing plates, crane rails, structural steel, and high-shelving pillars
- Grouting anchor bolts, dowels, and reinforcing bars
- Precast wall panels, beams, columns, curtain walls, and other structural or non-structural components
- Repairing concrete, including grouting voids, rock pockets, and other defects
- Interior or exterior use, above or below grade, including potable-water and infrastructure projects
