Scofield Concrete Materials Used for Estle Chevrolet and Cadillac Office Renovation

Scofield Concrete Materials: Scofield Formula One Liquid Dye Concentrate (color 1445 Cold Steel) and Select Seal Plus
Challenge: Convert portion of existing body into body shop office, re-finishing existing concrete floor.
Solution: Scofield Formula One, color 1445 Cold Steel, sealed with Scofield Select Seal Plus.
Striving to improve and meet customer service needs, Estle Chevrolet and Cadillac recently invested in a renovation and expansion of their Collision Center. They called on Gerken Construction to convert part of the body shop into a customer service office.
Building on the existing body shop floor, Scofield Formula One Liquid Dye was selected. Floor prep consisted of cleaning the floor and etching the surface to prepare it for the liquid dye stain. Once the stain was applied, it was sealed with Scofield Select Seal Plus, expansion joints were caulked, and the office was open for business in a quick turn around timeframe, meeting the needs of Estle Chevrolet and Cadillac.

Scofield Formula One Dye: SCOFIELD® Formula One™ Liquid Dye Concentrate is a penetrating, translucent dye concentrate designed to color interior concrete surfaces prior to being sealed, densified, or polished. Designed for easy job-site dilution, the diluted material will penetrate into the pores of properly prepared new or old concrete. Use SCOFIELD Formula One Liquid Dye Concentrate to add vibrant color to school and university floors, restaurants, retail establishments, museums and other public buildings such as churches. It is ideal for use on older interior slabs where acid stain cannot be used, or areas that must be quickly returned to service. 22 different color options. Will dry to touch in 5-15 minutes and is ready for sealer 30 minutes after drying for extremely fast turnaround. Not necessary to polish, however can be used with Polish system. Customer chose this stain because of the many color options.
Scofield Select Seal Plus: New product, Select Seal Plus is a sealer developed for use on interior concrete. It offers greater abrasion resistance and very good early water-resistance. Select Seal Plus provides superior wet slip resistance while forming a tough abrasion and stain resistant gloss. Due to high traffic area Select Seal Plus was the right sealer for the job. Enhanced the stain and created a nice gloss.
