Rudolph-Libbe Answers the Call at WSOS-Fremont
Posted by Matt Milos on Sep 24th 2018
When The Rudolph-Libbe Group's superintendent Denny Carnicon first contacted us about the WSOS project three weeks ago he could already see trouble on the horizon.
Denny explained that with the high humidity of this season the RH levels inside the building were tracking right along with ambient conditions. Some days the readings were even in the high 80s. He knew that this was going to quickly become an issue as the sub-contractors on the project were already warning him about potential delays and finish schedule issues.
Wanting to keep the project on track and keep those potential delays from occurring, Denny contacted us.
We put together a temporary solution that took advantage of the equipment they were already using on-site. Furthermore, Project Manager Annette Stuller navigated the tricky waters of a government funded project and secured the green light to quickly put the equipment into operation.
The readings shown in the pictures are from four short days later.
As you can see the building tracked along in perfect RH conditions for finishes. An indoor climate 20-25 points below the exterior level means you are doing a fabulous job of controlling the workspace. Ever a perfectionist, though, Denny told me with a grin, "You really should have been here this morning when I opened up. Before everyone started coming in and out, I was pulling readings even lower!"
Great job to the entire WSOS team! We appreciate the opportunity to be part of your solution.
