Mosser Construction Tackles the High Humidity to Keep Project on Track

Congratulations to Troy Overmyer and the entire Mosser Construction Team on successfully navigating the extremely high humidity levels of this season and taking the needed actions to not allow those conditions to effect their schedule on the St. John's XXIII sanctuary project in Perrysburg, OH with our job site dehumidifiers.
Troy first contacted us 5 weeks ago because he could already see the potential problems that high humidity levels were about to cause him. As Troy said "I have been down this road too many times. We have a turn over date we can't miss and I know what this is going to do to my finish time." Phipps and Troy planned out a course of action that included the correct amount of dehumidification equipment and air movement that would be sufficient to lower the building's humidity levels to allow joint compound to dry efficiently and other finishes to continue on schedule.
The story does not end there, however. Troy once again showed his understanding of the process when the permanent HVAC system was put into operation a week ago. At this stage many think that the temporary equipment is no longer needed. The reality is that permanent systems are designed to maintain the climate of a finished and occupied facility. Troy once again made the correct call: to use the temporary equipment to supplement the project until the building was enclosed enough for the permanent system to function effectively. Way to go Troy! Thank you for letting us be a part of this beautiful building!
