What do you do with a 17-foot nuisance crocodile from Australia that's been killing cattle? You fly him to Toledo and renovate the solarium to now house the largest saltwater crocodile in the United States.
Toledo Zoo Crocodile Exhibit Constuction Success Story4Toledo Zoo Crocodile Exhibit Constuction Success Story3A A Boos & Sons served as the General Contractor on the project and Great Lakes Concrete Restoration was awarded the shotcrete application. Quikrete's Shotcrete MS was selected to meet the needs of the exhibit and artist (Graphite Design) who sculpted the rock face and pool.
NewLook's ColorSmart was then applied to give the exhibit an authentic Australian Outback look and feel. The exhibit opened on May 24 and continues to draw large crowds.
