Product Description

Silpro R-2000 Primer is designed to bond self-levelers to various substrates such as concrete, wood, ceramic tile, and cement terrazzo. R-2000 Primer is a low odor, one time re-emulsifiable product.

Application

Apply a thin even coat of R-2000 Primer by using a broom. Avoid leaving puddles.

Priming

The primer must be dry to the touch before applying the self-leveling material. Optimal dry time is 3 hours, contaminants and dust on a job site will minimize bond. Maximum dry time should not exceed 48 hours. The primer dilution or modification will depend on the nature of the substrate.
