Product Description

Ardex K 15 is the original and the most specified self-leveler in North America. A blend of Portland cements and other hydraulic cements. 

Install over: interior concrete, terrazzo, ceramic and quarry tile, epoxy coating systems, wood, metal and non-water soluble adhesive residue on concrete; can be installed over concrete treated with certain curing compounds.

Installation

  • General priming recommendations:
    • Concrete: Ardex P 51 Primer
    • Most non-porous substrates, epoxy coatings, adhesive residue: Ardex P 82 Ultra Prime
  • Packaging: 55 lb. 
  • Coverage: 30 ft² per bag at 1/4” 
  • Thickness:Levels at 1/4” 
  • Can be tapered
  • Flow time: 10 minutes
  • Walkable: 2 to 3 hours
  • Install floor coverings:
    • Moisture-insensitive tile and stone: 6 hours
    • All other floor coverings: 16 hours

Performance

  • ASTM C191 Initial Set: Approx. 30 minutes
  • ASTM C191 Final Set: Approx. 90 minutes
  • ASTM C109 mod (air cure only) Compressive Strength: 5500 psi at 28 days
  • ASTM C348 Flexural Strength: 1000 psi at 28 days
